The Virginia Beach Chorale Ensemble, under the direction of Crystal Villanova, is composed of 20-24 members from the full Chorale. This group performs a variety of music throughout the year as part of the Chorale’s community outreach. We have shared music in local venues such as churches, schools, retirement communities, city events and memorials.

Crystal Villanova serves as our Virginia Beach Chorale Ensemble director. Crystal earned a Music Education degree from Winthrop University specializing in piano and choral music. She worked as the choral director at Chester High School in Chester, SC and directed the middle school chorus at Norfolk Academy. In addition to directing the ensemble, Crystal teaches piano lessons through the Academy of Music in Norfolk, VA , works for Virginia Beach Public Schools and performs locally as a freelance accompanist and vocalist.
