Soprano
Cassie Howard

Cassandra Howard is a native of Norfolk, Virginia, and studied Vocal Performance at Old Dominion University under the direction of Sondra Gelb. She is section leader and paid soprano soloist at Trinity Episcopal Church. Ms. Howard has been featured as a soloist with the Virginia Beach Chorale, Symphonicity Orchestra, and the Old Dominion University Concert Choir. Cassandra is also a member of the Virginia Chorale.
She has performed with the Virginia Opera Company in Britten's "A Midsummer Night's Dream", Donizetti's "L'Elisir D'Amore" (The Elixir of Love), and Paul Moravec's "Sanctuary Road". In addition to performing vocally, Cassandra is also an accomplished violinist.

Vicky Sazon is a graduate of Old Dominion University and holds a Bachelor's of Science in Speech-Language Pathology & Audiology. In addition to her duties as Alto Section Leader she also serves as Director of Membership for the Chorale. Vicky has been a member of the Chorale since 2015 and has held previous VBC Board Member positions including Vice-President, Secretary, Scholarship, and Member At-Large. Vicky also sings in the VBC Small Ensemble, as well as other community and church choirs throughout Hampton Roads.

Bass
Craig Nolin

Craig Nolin has been in the Chorale since the fall of 2021. Originally, he joined hoping to find something he could enjoy doing with his son, Rob, who joined the Chorale in 2019. He joined the group of singers who went to New York City in 2024 to sing with Dr. Krudop during his residency at Carnegie Hall.
Prior to joining the Chorale, Craig had performed with the Bluejackets Chorus in Navy bootcamp in Orlando, FL and in various church choirs. His background in music includes having been selected for All State Band (trombone) in high school and performing with his church’s gospel quartet, "Amazing Grace." since 2004, where he sings lead and plays guitar.
Bass
Robert Nolin

Robert Nolin has been a member of the Virginia Beach Chorale since 2019, joining as a senior in high school. Robert has been singing and performing since 2011, having been selected for All-City, District, All-Virginia, and the VMEA Senior Honors choir during his public school education. He graduated from Virginia Wesleyan University in 2024 with a Bachelor's in Musical Arts and is currently working towards his Master's in Vocal Performance and Choral Conducting at Norfolk State University.
Robert has been selected as a featured soloist internationally in both Italy and Switzerland and has sung solo in various churches and schools in the Hampton Roads area. Robert currently sings at Great Bridge Presbyterian Church as their Bass Choral Scholar and Assistant Music Director.
